Your bio helps clients quickly understand who you are, what you specialize in, and the kind of work you do. A strong bio adds personality and context beyond your portfolio, making it easier for clients to learn more about you.
From your Talent Dashboard, select Profile.
In the Profile editor, select the Overview tab.
In the left-side menu, select Background.
This is where you can update your Industry Since and About/Bio fields.
The Industry Since field helps you show how long you’ve been working in the creative industry.
Go to Profile → Overview → Background.
Select the Industry Since dropdown.
Choose the year you started working in the industry.
Select Save Profile to apply your changes.
The About/Bio field is where you describe your creative focus and professional background.
Go to Profile → Overview → Background
Click into the About/Bio text box.
Write a short bio that highlights:
Your role or specialty.
The type of work you do.
The industries you work in (optional).
Your creative approach or strengths.
Select Save Profile to apply your changes.
Keep it clear and professional (aim for 3–6 sentences).
Lead with what you do and what you’re best known for.
Mention relevant specialties (e.g., directing, editing, motion design, web design).
Align your bio with your portfolio and categories.
Avoid overly broad statements, specific is stronger than generic.
Bio updates are only applied after selecting Save Profile. If you navigate away before saving, your changes will not be saved.
