The talent dashboard is your central workspace for managing your profile, portfolio, job opportunities, and account settings. From here, you can control how your profile appears to companies, apply for jobs, manage messages, update your account preferences, and select categories and markets.
This article provides an overview of each section within the Talent Dashboard and explains how the dashboard is organized so you can navigate it easily.
When you log into Studiomate, you’ll see your main dashboard and left-hand navigation menu. The left navigation allows you to move between the primary sections of the dashboard, while each section displays navigation tabs, such as overview, portfolio, and expertise.

Each section is designed to support a specific part of your workflow on Studiomate.
The Profile section is where you build, edit, and manage your public professional profile. This information is what companies see when discovering or reviewing your work. In the next section, we will review each tab within the Profile section of the Talent Dashboard.
Overview
The Overview tab contains your core identity and background information. This includes:
Identity
Upload a profile photo, set your account type (Freelancer or Company), and manage your name, job title, and website.
Location
Add your address, city, state or province, postal code, and country. Location helps determine market visibility. Note: additional markets can be added in the Markets section of the Talent Dashboard.
Background
Specify how long you’ve been in the industry and write your professional bio.
Social
Add links to your Instagram, LinkedIn, Behance, and Dribbble profiles.
Changes in this section should be saved using the Save Profile button.
Portfolio
The Portfolio tab allows you to showcase your work visually.
From here you can:
View your portfolio grid
Create new portfolio projects
Edit existing projects
Upload photos and videos
Add project descriptions, clients, skills, industries, and tools
Each project opens in a modal where all project details can be managed before saving.
Expertise
The Expertise tab defines how your profile appears in search and discovery across Studiomate.
It includes three areas:
Categories
Select the roles or services you want to be known for. The number of categories you can select depends on your membership plan.
Skills
Add up to 10 skills that describe your capabilities and specialties.
Tools
Add up to 10 tools you regularly use in your work.
Keeping this section up to date improves how your profile is matched to jobs and searches.
Clients
The Clients tab lets you add past or current clients to your profile.
You can:
Search for and add client names
Display client logos or names on your public profile
Update your client list at any time
Adding multiple clients helps build credibility and trust with companies viewing your profile.
The Jobs section is where you browse and manage job opportunities on Studiomate.
From this page, you can:
View available contract, remote, part-time, and full-time roles
Review job details
Apply for positions that match your skills and interests
Your profile information, categories, skills, and markets help determine which jobs you see.
The Messages section is where you communicate with companies and contacts on Studiomate.
Here you can:
View incoming messages
Respond to job inquiries or collaboration requests
Manage ongoing conversations related to work opportunities
Notifications help alert you when new messages arrive.
The Markets section controls where your profile appears geographically.
In this section, you can:
Select cities or regions where you want to be visible
Manage market selections based on your plan limits
Update markets as your availability or location changes
Market selection directly impacts discovery and job matching.
The Settings section is where you manage your account preferences and security. You can view and update your personal information, including:

Bio
Password
Update your account password to keep your profile secure.
Billing & Payments
Manage your subscription plan and billing details, including:
Current plan
Upgrade options
Next billing date
Payment management
Email Notifications
Control which emails and alerts you receive, including:

Manage privacy and security-related settings for your account.
Saving Changes & Viewing Your Profile
Throughout the dashboard, changes are saved using Save Profile or action-specific buttons. You can preview how your profile appears to others at any time by selecting View Profile.
